Oscar Trevino Mayor of North Richland Hills

	Who I am Born and raised in San Antonio, I am a 1978 graduate of Texas A&M University earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. I am a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas and own the heavy-highway construction contracting company O Trevino Construction. Carol, my wife of 33 years and I married shortly after graduation. We’ve lived in North Richland Hills since 1982 and are members of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Our two children Vanessa and Marc are graduates of Richland High School. Vanessa graduated from Tarleton State in 2005 and Marc graduated from Texas Christian University in 2010, both are products of the Birdville Independent School District. Community Involvement I am currently completing my fifth term as Mayor of North Richland Hills. I was first elected to Place 7 of the City Council in May, 1999. I resigned as a Council Member during my second term after being elected as the Mayor in 2002. Prior to being elected to the City Council, I served on the city’s Park and Recreation Board and the Teen Court Advisory Board. Currently, I also serve in the following positions for the City of North Richland Hills: Chair of the North Richland Hills Crime Control & Prevention District Chair of Tax Increment Financing (TIF) #1 & #2 Boards Chair of the Parks & Recreation Facilities Development Corporation North Richland Hills Landscape Review Board Educational Involvement with Birdville ISD. BISD Foundation for Educational Excellence Former Chair of the Foundation Golf Committee. Past member of BISD Teaming for Excellence in Education (TEE) Committee. Past member of Site Base Committees for North Ridge Middle School, Green Valley Elementary School, and Richland High School.
